Decasting is a second blocking operation which gently 'bakes' the hat, creating a more exact, permanent structure as well as ensuring that it will keep its shape for years to come. Color should be rich and consistent.

We put the sweatband through an extra flanging process. A small machine pre-rolls the edge adding extra cushion for extra comfort and durability.
